The Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible in assisting the Marketing team with all Marketing Planning & Execution strategies for the hotel. He/she will be responsible for developing marketing plans for the hotel and then overseeing the implementation and execution of the various efforts associated with the marketing plan.

What will I be doing?

The Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible in assisting the Marketing team with all Marketing Planning & Execution strategies for the hotel. He/she will be responsible for developing marketing plans for the hotel and then overseeing the implementation and execution of the various efforts associated with the marketing plan. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Manage internal communications in the hotel and update the regional office of any local stories, awards and sponsorship events to promote locally, regionally and globally.
  • Oversee media visits and develop key media contacts, manage press conferences on site and be aware of media events and activities in the local area and community.
  • Liaison with EMEA PR Team as appropriate.
  • Assist in the creation of copy and content for the social media editorial calendars for the hotel (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn).
  • Responsible for building a coherent social media strategy for the hotels and F&B; outlets.
  • Grow social media following and enhance interaction with customers using different tools and techniques.
  • Ensure sales and F&B; teams receive full marketing and PR support including supporting on signing off collateral.
  • Work with F&B; on need periods for outlets and supporting action plans to drive bookings.
  • Support positioning work for key / signature F&B; outlets in market with action plans to increase in house and local (non-guest) bookings.
  • Oversees the development and content strategy of hotel level websites.
  • Identifies partnership/sponsorship opportunities for joint outreach.
  • Coordinates influencer strategy with public relations team to leverage social media opportunities.
  • Conducts paid marketing surveys on current and new service levels and product concepts.
